Upgrade fx 8300

I want to upgrade my fx 8300, i have a stock asus m51bc. My question is will a ryzen be fine for me pc or i also need to change something else.
My mob is a m5a97evo2/m51bc/dp_mb ( i couldnt find it online tho to give you more spec about it, only similar ones) here is also a picture : http://imgur.com/gallery/EYqsYak

No way up with that set, Ryzen processors don't fit in there. At minimum you would need Ryzen compatible MB with AM4 socket and DDR4 memory.
It also seems you don't have a dedicated graphic card and are using GPU integrated in the MB. Only true Ryzen processor with integrated GPU better than FX 8300 + IGPU would (for now) Ryzen R5 2400G..

Thanks for the reply, i do have a gpu just removed it to clean the dust, what processor will fit without changing the mob and ram , only a fx serie?

Old Athlon 2 and Phenom 2 would also fit and work but that would be a regression. Other FX processors faster than 8300 are FX 8320/50/70 but I'm afraid that this MB is not strong enough for them and performance improvement would be minimal, not worth effort and money.
What is that GPU you have ?

R9 270 but will uograde it with a nvidia 1060 6gb in few months

Than you definitely need better system, not because of 270 but because of 1060 for which FX would be outmatched and present a bottleneck.

No problem using it and running it (1060) but as I said, CPU would be somewhat of a bottleneck.

Yeah, in other words you can use 1060 and it will run, but in most cases you will not be able to use the most performance out of it. In severe cases you might even get only half the framerate you would normally get with a Ryzen-class CPU.
