Hello,

Just a quick question... I am wondering if when I upgrade my GPU in doing so it increase my CPU temperature? I don't know if that is how things work or not but my CPU temps while running a game like COD BOCW or Rust my temps are medium 50's. Which I believe is okay... I want to upgrade to a 3080 if I can ever find one in stock.

Your cpu temperatures are very reasonable and you have a lot of headroom. If after upgrading the gpu your FPS goes up significantly (depends on game settings you choose) you could see an increase in cpu temperature. The higher the FPS the higher the cpu workload. However I don’t see anything to suggest you would have any problems.

Hello there!
I don't think it'll affect alot unless you do not have sufficient case can so you can go ahead with the 3080. And you have a 360mm AIO so i really believe there's no issue.

Thank you for the info! I am glad to hear it. I updated the temp, I watched it closer and it only spikes to maybe 63c but mostly runs no hotter than 58c. So I guess that may be even better?

Thank you for your input I just get worried about temps sometimes. I would like my processor to be no higher than 60c with load lol that might be crazy but they are around that as I said. Thanks again.

If you really want your temps low, just set all your fans to 100%--it's amazing how much cooling you can get out of coolers with enough moving air. I regularly put 95w processors under 65w heatsinks and can keep them under 50c with 100% fan settings.
