[SOLVED] Upgrade GPU on HP Omni 220 PC

Hi there,

I have an HP Omni 220-1148hk PC, with the AMD Radeon HD 6450 GPU. This GPU has 1GB of VRAM.

I understand that there are very limited options for upgrading GPU on this PC. The upgrade options on the official HP specs page are below.

My question is if there are any other GPUs that would be compatible? Ones that have been produced recently, and not listed by HP?

Will any MXM graphics cards work? Or an external GPU?

All of the supported gpus are 3amp units, this likely means that the pc has a wattage limit of 36watts (12volts x 3Amps= 36 watts). The gtx 860m is a 75w gpu.

The omni has a pci-e x1 mini card slot, usually an e-gpu uses a x4 slot or a thunderbolt port.

I think you're outta luck.
