Hi

I just got a pc with a MSI Krait gaming:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B250-KRAIT-GAMING
Is there a good recommended cpu for this board. I'm not too interested in overclocking, but maybe it is good to have that option?
The gpu i got is a gt 1030 OC 2gb
(I also got an old gt545 TI OC 3gb, which I took from an Acer G3610, old, from 2012).
Ram is 2x4gb 2133mhz ddr4.
If someone has advice in upgrading, I'll be gratefull👍🎅

Solution
memory:
you can buy another kit of 2x4 or 2x8 memory, ddr4 2400 speed.

gpu:
which psu do you have?

for GPU, if your power supply has 6pin/8pin pcie connector, you can get something like a rx570 or 1650 super. around 130-150 USD, very decent card.
if you don't have a the 6/ pin, 1650 with no 6pin is a good choice, cost about the same 130~150 USD, it's slower, but it doesn't require the extra connector.

cpu:
what CPU do you have currently install?
you could try get a 6700 or used for about 150 USD.

however, if you are willing to spend around 200 on the CPU, i would actually suggest you to get a brand new ryzen 2600 and cheap b450m for a bit more. you are getting similar performance plus warranty for a bit more. plus a good upgrade...

Got this for gaming for the kids on 9, 11 and 13. I've tried fortnite and it went well, hehe I died after jumping of a cliff after 5 min 😊 I don't know the fps while playing though. Trying to keep the budget low for now, until I win in the national lottery👍 I payed around 180 usd for it, used, so if I could kepp the budget under about 100, it'll be great.
