Hi, dont know how to start, but I have a GTX660, core2quad Q9550@3.4ghz, 4gb ddr2@800mhz, can someone tell if I can upgrade my GPU to GTX 970 4gb, without any bottlenecks? Or I need to upgrade my MOBO, CPU and RAM first? Budget is 190$. planning to buy on payday,.

here are my specs
p45-es3g mobo
core2quad Q9550@3.4ghz
GTX 660 2GB(non ti)
4gb DDR2 @ 800mhz 6-6-6-18
PSU- korean trurated 600w

P.S.: i always play Battlefield4(experiencing some lag) and planning to buy battlefield 1 after the upgrade. tia

I would replace your whole system since it's almost a decade old (reuse the GTX 660), but with a $190 budget it'll be tough. You can try building a budget Intel build with a Pentium G4560 (4 threads) for $75, 8GB DDR4 for $55-60, and a mATX motherboard for $50-60. That would be around $190.

I'm pretty sure the Core2Quad will bottleneck the GTX 970.

I don't play Battlefield 4 so I can't really say. However, $190 is so little to work with that there is practically no other Intel build people can recommend to you and I'm not a fan of AMD builds right now (however, if you can get a FX 8320 + motherboard + 8GB of ram for your budget then that's not a bad deal).
