sorry about that,intel core2 quad q6600 processor....450watx psu.....2gb ram.....nvidia g-force8500gt.....chipset-northbridge via pt880-pro/pt880 ultra......os win xp....mobo conroe kentsfield fsb1066 quad core cpu ....500gb hard drive....i'm wanting to up grade my grapics fromm the 8500gt to the sapphire 4770ddr5 pci-e,would my system allow this.

If your 450W PSU has a 6 pin PCI-E, it most likely is capable of it. If you have to use the 4 pin molex to 6pin PCI-E, we might want to take a little closer look at the specs on that unit. It should state the specs right on the side. We are looking for the 12V rating.
