Upgrade graphics

Hi, just got a new motherboard with integrated graphics but this won't play skyrim. Any suggestions on upgrading the graphics. I am a complete novice at this and there are so many cards out there. Not got a lot if money either.

I have a m5a78l-mlx v2 motherboard.

yes you have to get at least a discrete level gpu.

get at least the hd7750 if you want to play recent titles at decent details and resolutions....also do check if your psu has enough power.

Here you may not know your pc specs so let me help you get there. Right click computer and go to properties

Also need to know what power supply you have. Brand and model number would be best.

If you have a generic 300w PSU, then the best GPU I can recommend is the Radeon HD 7750. For the little amount of power it needs, it has very good performance.

If you have only a 250w PSU, then the best GPU I can recommend is the Radeon HD 6570. It is significantly less powerful than the Radeon HD 7750 which is basically equal in performance to the Radeon HD 6770. That's "2 performance levels" above the HD 6570 based on AMD's naming strategy. That is significant.
