upgrade gtx 770 to gtx 970

is it worth it to upgrade from gtx 770 to gtx 970 on one 1080p monitor?

For BF4 - yep.

But for anything ordinary, no.

Right now, nope. The 770 can still max out any game pretty well and will do so for a couple years before starting to be uncomfortable for ultra gaing.

i know but i think my vram will give me trouble on next year's games like Batman Arkham Knight and this year's Assassins Creed. the only reason i want to upgrade is the vram the extra fps is just a bonus i dont really need right now because i play on one 1080p monitor.

Actually, you can definately wait until ACU is released and then you can compare the boost yourself. The prices will fall a bit (but not much) by then too. Yes 970 will give you better FPS than 770, how much? Benchmarks and reviews will reveal.

The prices are at par with 770 and below 780 in most countries, all the best!
