My video card has stopped working on my cheap gaming computer. It came with a HD5570 1GB 2.0x16. Can I replace this with a GTX750 Ti 1G (or 2G) 3.0x16? Would this be a decent card to swap to for my older computer in this application? My current gaming is mainly Guild Wars 2. My computer specs are below. Will my power supply be adequate? I know its not a top line unit.

AMD Phenom II X 4 925 processor 2.8 GHz
4.00 GB Ram
64-bit operating system
480w power supply LOGISYS Computer PS480D2 480W ATX12V Power Supply
came with radeon HD5570 video card (not sure if its DDR3 or DDR5)

This is the card I was looking at on newegg.com

Solution
You psu is enough and there wont be any problems with PCIe slot. But in future consider replacing PSU since cpu will draw more Power now since it will have to feed all the data to more powerful GPU.Any quality 500w psu will keep you on safe side.

You will see huge increase in performance in GW2 with that card that you will want to cry and tell yourself why didnt you buy it sooner XD
Go with 2GB model.
Here is some info on how much big difference you will see

Thanks for the feedback! Will my power supply be adequate? Its not a top line model. Also from what I have read having the card being 3.0x16 and my board having a PCIe 2.0x16 shouldn't cause any problems.

You will need to crack some settings down like shadows Anti-aliasing and view distance( or rednder distance, donno how they put it in gw2 ) but you should easy get above 30 fps without problems. It will be HUGE improvement over current GPU.
