Im looking to upgrade my video card but not sure on what to buy. Im looking at cards in the $200-250 range, but my problem is do I need a single or dual slot ?
System specs
A10 -6700 @ 3.70 ghz
8gb memory
geforce 650 ti
500gb hard drive
450 watt ps
Single or dual slot refers to the size of the gpu, more specifically the fan/heatsink and how much space it takes up on motherboard. What motherboard do you have?

The new Nvidia GTX 960 would be about the top end card you could use w/o major bottle neck. Nvidia recommends a 400W minimum PSU for it. Another option would be an R9-280. But you'd need at least a 500W good quality PSU for that card.

Trying not to buy a card and power supply. Would I see a difference going from a 650 ti to a 750 ti ?
The GTX 750 Ti would not be enough of a performance increase to warrant the purchase. The GTX 960 you linked to would be a good choice. What is the make/model of your PSU?
