Upgrade help Needed

Ok, I bought a working Gateway GT5692. irt was running windows vista. I upgraded to 7. I have memory and wifi under control. I need graphics board help. It has an ATI raedon HD3200 in it. I would like to upgrade well enough to make use of the HD monitor I picked up with it. So far $42.12 invested.

What do you mean by make use of the HD Monitor? The system will run at 1080 resolution with no issues. Are you talking about for faster gaming speeds? It probably won't run any of the newest cards because of BIOS and motherboard restrictions but something like a Radeon 240 or nVidia GT 730 GDDR5 should be OK for cheap and should not need a power supply upgrade.
