Upgrade help please

I want to upgrade my (mostly) pre built 2015 HP Envy because I am running at 100% GPU and VID according to Afterburner with a GPU temp of 71C under stress (2 hours of starcraft). CPU temps are ok...between 24C(idle) and 54C(stress). No software or UEFI/BIOS tweeks. I have issues at higher resolutions while playing DOOM and Witcher 3. Do you have any advice as to what I should upgrade? for any reason not just gaming? I already upgraded my RAM but I have 2 open slots. I have 250 to spend. Thanks!

Currently I am running Windows 10 with:

HP 2B-4B DDR4
i7 6700 Skylake 3.8htz
GeForce GTX 745
2 g-skill 8G DIMM (after market)
128G Boot SSD
2T SSHD
1 Noctua 92mm exhaust fan (after market)
Cooler Mas hyer 212 evo...I left this out in original post...sorry.

The rest of your PC looks pretty good, so I'd say you should upgrade your GPU: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/LrmxFT/zotac-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-4gb-oc-edition-video-card-zt-p10510b-10l
and upgrade your CPU cooler to a cooler master hyper 212 evo 'cuz why not.
