[SOLVED] Upgrade help!

Hey everyone

I have a gaming PC and I am looking to do some small upgrades to make playing a little smoother. Looking for the more subtle PC mods such as a GPU change or a CPU change rather than the whole rig. Its a few years old so dont be alarmed but some older tech. Suggestions and help will be amazing! Here is my current spec:
MOBO: MSI 760GM P23
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
CPU: AMD FX 6300 Six Core 3.5GHZ (has a heat sink attached too)
PSU: 550W
RAM: 8GB

I am not familiar with the used market outside CONUS, but I would imagine you could buy a second-hand 1060 for that or less.

No. You will know best which upgrade you need the most.
1)Download and run HWINFO: https://www.hwinfo.com/
2)When you open it, just check Sensors Only then ok. Leave it running in the background.
3)Play your games - please play multiple titles, or you will reduce the accuracy of your results; the more samples, the better.
4)During each transition to another game, pull up HWINFO and click on the clock icon in the bottom-right corner of the app. This resets the current results - wouldn't want you to mix up results from different games...
5)At the end of gameplay, note/record the following:
Core 1 usage
Core 2 usage
Core 3 usage
Core 4 usage
Core 5 usage
Core 6 usage - DO NOT use whole cpu usage!
Ram usage
Gpu usage

6)After the testing is all done, find the most common weakest link among the results. That's the one that benefits the most from an upgrade.

Since your mobo has pcie gen 2.0 i would go further than the gtx 1050ti.Other specs dont need to be upgraded as badly as the gpu.

I choose gigabyte cuz of the windforce cooling technology.personally had experience with r9 380 4gb from gigabyte and havent gone any further than 78C.And it looks good as well

Please dont go for the 2gb version cuz you will cry how bad it is in games compared to the 4gb version.

Amazing thanks so much. Googled them for other offers on them, there’s a lot that fall under this name. Are they other versions that are not as good as this?
