Question Upgrade Help

Hi,

I'm wondering if I should try and upgrade my GPU, or just start over. Like everyone else, Elden Ring has finally pushed me to think about this, because I don't game all that much otherwise. So I don't need top tier, but would of course like the best I can reasonably get.

Anyway, my computer is a 5-year-old pre-built set, though I upgraded the HD to an SSD, and the PSU to a 550w modular unit. Other current specs are:

GPU: Radeon RX 480
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700 @ 3.40GHz
RAM: 8 GB (but open DDR4 slots on motherboard)

Any advice?

you can upgrade to a gtx 1650 decent budget gpu. good enough until the super inflated gpu prices drop or wait for the 40 series rtx nvidia cards to come out

i looked for a rtx 3080 for almost a year then the ps5 was released and i ended up getting a ps5 even tho i never wanted it. dumb luck found one at best buy last year for my bday in February
