Question Upgrade HP Laptop Lagging on Simple Tasks

I have an HP 15-f387wm with upgraded ram (16GB) and an SSD (250GB) with a fresh install of Windows 10. When first performing this upgrade, the device worked wonderfully, but now, it lags on the simplest tasks such as typing and working on websites like Quizizz.com.

Is there anything else that can be done with this fairly old device, or am I relegated to soon having to purchase a new one?

What is the processor on this and how old is the computer? You can adjust the computer for best performance. Go to About your PC then click advanced system settings. Go under performance, then select adjust for best performance. It helps a whole lot. You can also run HP support assist app to check for any driver, bios updates. They help a lot too.

I apologize for taking so long to respond to this. My processor is an AMD A8-7410 with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics and it was purchased from Walmart about 5 years ago.
