Upgrade i3 2120 with HD7770

Hi,

I'm wanting to upgrade for BF4 as I only have a dual core i3 and I have read BF4 will perform better with a quad core cpu.

I have been looking at an A10 6800k hoping to crossfire my 7770 as a cheap solution.

A i5 would cost about the same minus the A55 fm2 motherboard but without a gpu boost?

would the HD7770 and A10 be a better combo?

f you go to an i5, you don't have to change the mottherboard. Just get one for whichever socket you have ( 1155 & ect ). If you got AMD, you would have to also have to change the motherboard. A quad is always preferable when gaming especially on that game.
