Upgrade idea opinions

So, I have a phenom ii x4 555 (unlocked x2) at 3.6. Some mobo I forget exactly but it is a 760 chip set. 6gb of gskill at 1333 and a xfx r9 270x. I was thinking of changing mobo and getting the fx6300. And new ram of course. Anyway how well do you guys think that set up Will run? Should I get a better gpu as well? Right now I can get benchmark scores up the more I over clock the cpu. Any input would be awesome guys thanks in advance

you'll probably want 8gb RAM, then a new CPU like the i3 4160 or FX 6300 is you're an AMD guy

I's recommend at least 8gb RAM, then CPU to somthing like an i5, then GPU to GTX 970
