Upgrade ideas? <500$

Like the title states, I'd like to do a few upgrades, unsure of which route to take, maybe just sell the PC and build a new one with the 500$ I'd upgrade with or just do the upgrades.

I was thinking maybe another 8 gigs of ram, an m.2 SSD, and maybe a Nvidia 1070?

It's fine for most of today's games. An other stick of 8 gb ram would be a great idea.
