Hi fellows,

I have a question. With current configuration:

MB: ASUS Prime Z270-P
CPU: 7700K ( OC to 4.7GHz )
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz CL16
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 ( OC to Core: +180 Memory: +500 )
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G3, 80 Plus GOLD
Is it worth upgrading my system to?
MB: ASUS Prime X570-Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL16
GPU: SAME
PSU: SAME

Mostly for gaming.

Yes, it is a substantial upgrade. Now,if it's worth it depends on you and your needs.

Given the recent 12600K/Z690 w/DDR4 achievements in recent reviews, with FPS levels exceeding those of the 5800X, 5900X, 5950X and all 10th/11th gen CPUs including 10900K/11900K...I'd ponder my upgrade path quite carefully.

The 5800X is, however, quite good....(I had seen a few rumored sales at $299, which if true, would make it a virtual 'must buy' at that price!
