Question Upgrade issue!

Hi,

Been using Toms Hardware for years but this is my first post because Ive always been able to find an asnwer to my issue!

I've updated my computer (wanted to do a mini upgrade to get a couple more years out of my AM4 motherboard) so I've added a new cpu, m2 hard drive and x53 cooling system..

The computer powers up but there is no display and there is an orange LED light in the top right of the motherboard. Also, the fans on the graphics card aren't spinning (the LEDs light up)

I've tried - connecting the HDMI via the graphics card and motherboard slots, reducing the RAM to one stick, and having a general check of all the connections - everything's seems and the computer was working fine before the upgrade. I was thinking the power may be too low but I keep finding differing opions on what is needed for my setup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Below is the spec

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
Kingston Fury 64GB (2 x 32GB) Ram
Radeon RX 580 Nitro+ Graphics card
1TB M.2 (want this to be my boot drive)
2TB HD
Kraken x53 CPU cooler
650w PSU

I don't know how to update the BIOS without a display?
The light appears to me orange but having read that document it must be yellow so its DRAM issue?

if it is ram, try booting with 1 stick of ram

put the old cpu back in to update the bios

you will have to update the bios by putting the old cpu in the reason nothing is spinning is it doesnt detect a cpu most likely.

other thing you can try is removing the battery out of the motherboard follow this

this disables any overclock and puts the bios into stock mode

With your new CPU and M.2, you need to do a clear CMOS too.

Clear the CMOS, then install the latest BIOS by doing a "BIOS Flashback"

Unfortunately, I have not solved the issue - I tried putting the old cpu in and nothing happens when I turn the computer on, I'm worried that I may have damaged it when uninstalling.

As a quick fix I was wondering if I should buy a new motherboard? Would this solve the issue as it would pretty much be a new system and wouldn't need the bios upgrade?
