Upgrade Laptop GPU

Hello!

I have a question. I was wondering if I would be able to upgrade my laptops GPU? I've got a gaming desktop that I have done work on but never a laptop. The specs are below:

Toshiba Satellite S50-A
Intel i7-4700MQ CPU 2.40GHZ
16GB Ram
x64 bit operating system
Crucial 512 GB SATA 6gb/s SSD
Intel HD Graphics 4600
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M

Hello... Typically they are soldered on to the MB... a small amount of high end units will have a PCIe connection for a MOBILE GPU connection.

Ahh yeah I am good soldering but would rather not mess with it.

Quick visual inspection shows the GPU is soldered on. And that is not something a person who is 'good' with soldering can change out. BGA chips require very specialized equipment to both install and remove outside of the factory.
