Upgrade laptop nvidia graphics card

Hello i have a Hp pavilion 15 AU111tx with nvidia geforce 940mx.I want to upgrade it to gtx 980m.
Can i do that ?

No, I dont believe that laptop has a MXM slot, the gpu is soldered to the motherboard.

You would be better off selling the laptop and getting a better one.
