Upgrade Memory Question

As of now i have 4gb of DDR2 memory, and i want to upgrade to 8 gb

I currently have this in my system

Now i got it awhile back when it was 40 dollars for these 2 sticks, but now with the price, up would it be a big deal if i got another 4gb of a different type. Would i see a big performance difference if i used 8gb of my current one or would it be a big deal if i had 4 gb of that one then like 4gb of another kind?

I strongly suggest that you get another identical kit. Mixing modules often leads to system instability. That kit also happens to be one of the best kits that you can buy.
