upgrade my AMD processor

I ran the everest scan on it and can post the report if needed. I am also upgrading the PSU to 750W

I would like to go with the best cpu that is compatible, no preference

Now the problem is they do not have a compatibility list but we know it is AM3 socket so my guess would be this CPU is supported http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-adx645wfk42gm there are not many AM3 CPU's left on the market.

There is no available BIOS update for the Tilapia CRB motherboard. I could not get the system to recognize or boot with a Phenom II X6 1045T, even though that's a 95W part. It will run quite happily with a Phenom II X4 B93, which is a rebadged X4 830.

quoted from the thread I posted above, any idea why it is not liking the X6?

It is most likely because Lenovo never made a BIOS update for it therefore max recognizing 4 cores.
