Hello guys

I wanted to ask for advice about what I should do.

Im planning ahead to be able to play Bethesdas Starfield at High graphics when it comes out.

I have a decent gaming PC:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500 6 core at 3,6 GhZ
Motherboard:
Ram: 8 Gb
SSD/HDD: 128 Gb SSD and 2t HDD
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
PSU: I forgot but I will make sure it has enough W
Chassis:
OS: Windows 11
Monitor: 1980x1080

Xbox Series X cost about 600€ I think.

For that price I could instead look to upgrade RAM to 16GB and the best bang-for-buck GPU. Any suggestions? Or is it anyway better to buy an Xbox?

Does the CPU of my system hold up if I'd upgrade GPU or would it bottleneck

Grateful for any help!

Please state the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
including the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.

If the system is a prebuilt, as you've posted this thread in the Prebuilt & Enterprise section, then please include the make and model as well as the SKU to your prebuilt as opposed to the specs method mentioned above.

It also comes down to preference. Me personally I don’t mind console gaming but the mouse/keyboard controls I think I prefer unless it’s a sports game or driving. However I also like to tinker and tweak my pc as well. It depends what you want to do. Long term the console is probably more bigger friendly.
