I upgraded my good old Alienware X51 R2 with a 1070 a couple of years ago and now I wonder: Is there a newer graphics card (2070 Super or 1080ti?) that will make my machine fit for Doom Eternal or is the CPU and DDR3 Memory of my machine too old making the upgrade not worth it?

What would be the best graphics card for this? I habe a 1440p G-Sync Monitor . Happy for your thoughts, thanx a bunch!

Alienware X51 R2 Core i7 3.6 Ghz, 4 Cores

8GB DDR3 Ram 1600 Mhz

Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5
