Upgrade my pc, HELP...

Hello,
I want to upgrade my pc and i'm thinking first go with the gpu i was thinking to buy the ATI Radeon HD7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB or GTX660 Ti 2GB and then buy a new MotherBoard,CPU (i5) , 2 more gb of ram... what you think?


My curent build is:
6,00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 1,333Mhz
i3 2100 3,1Ghz
AMD Radeon HD 6450 (Sapphire/PCPartner)
Foxconn H61MXV/-LE/H67MXV
Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 ATA Device

What games do you play or want to play and at what resolution?

What Power Supply do you have?

Then I would do the CPU.

I really don't understand the need for a new motherboard.

The increase from 6GB to 8GB would be small, but for the cost, reasonable. It is recommended to match the exact part number of the memory you are now using.

Yeah you are right i forgot the PSU is 650w 80+
i moslty want to play skyrim,gta IV and the futured V, BF3 and generaly all the new
I have samsung 23" full hd monitor

Agree, video will be huge. CPU will help, but not near as much. You can see this if you look at tom's $500 build which all have a weaker cpu than your i3-2100. 600w PSU, if reasonable quality will drive your CPU and the HD7870 2GB or GTX660 Ti 2GB with plenty of room to spare.

So you say, ubgrae my gpu is good begining... But my MB is chip and a bit crapy sorry for the language...
Oh and you think RAM ubgrate from 6 to 8 is too little..?

Yes. The GPU upgrade should be 1st as the core i3 will not bottleneck it. Haswell is coming up and you should get whatever the i5 is as it will be around 10-20% better than current ivy bridge i5. The Ram upgrade is fine but make sure you get the exact model number of your current Ram.
