Hi,

I have recently upgraded my GPU in my first computer. I would want to add my old GTX 770 (EVGA superclocked, 2gb VRAM, 02G-p4-2774-kr, https://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=FA93EFC9-A44B-448C-BCEA-AFF0B5BD7AEB) in my second computer and I hesitate between 550w or 600w for the psu. My dilemma is do 600w will dissipate too much heat and do 550w is enough?

To give an idea, it's a with now I have a 260w PSU now and it's a model done in factory. The brand is Lenovo. Also, the card that is now on this computer is a very basic one with 27W of TDP.

Also, I have 4gb ram and upgraded it to 8gb. I don't upgrade other composants.

Thank you!

That card needs a 6 and 8 pin connector, with 42A on the 12V output. As long as you pick a good power supply, and it meets those requirements, it should be enough.

By the way, the larger power supply usually runs cooler, not hotter. That's because it doesn't have to work as hard. If you can lift 200 pounds, then lifting 100 pounds isn't going to strain you. If you can lift 125 pounds, then lifting 100 pounds is going to take more effort.
