[SOLVED] Upgrade necessary for 1440p ?

I currently own:
Msi x470 gaming plus
Ryzen 5 2600 oc'd on all cores to 4.1ghz
MSI RTX 2070 Armor (slight OC)
16 gigs 3200mhz RAM, DDR4

I currently play at 1080p, but am looking to possibly get a 1440p monitor. With my current setup, is that a wise choice at this current point in time, given that the technology is/has jumped quite a bit in the past few months?

That depends on what games you’re going to play on 1440p, but given your specs it should be more than enough so go ahead.

No problem make sure to get a 1440p monitor with 144hz for smother gameplay, your specs should be enough for that as well.
