Upgrade now or wait for 4k components to drop on price?

Hi i built my 1st gaming pc about 4yrs ago only thing I've upgraded is GPU. Is there anything I should upgrade or do i wait for 4k components to drop in price?

MOBO: ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 CPU 3.40GHz

GPU: ASUS R9 280 DIRECTCU II TOP 3GB

RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE 8GB DDR3

OS: WINDOWS 10 64BIT

SSD: OCZ AGILITY 3 120GB

HDD: TOSHIBA 2TB

I'd wait. New lineups of both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs are going to be launched soon, and they will be well suited for 4K. Monitor-wise, as 4K is still new, the longer you wait, the lower the cost.

Wait. All the '4K' stuff right now is basically first generation which means its really expensive and just barely delivers what it promises. The new Nvidia/AMD cards come out this year and they might make 4k output more realistic.

In what way is your current pc not doing the job?

A 4k monitor for gaming requires serious graphics capability, on the order of a GTX980ti.
