Upgrade of CPU

Hello guys, i have i3-550 3.2ghz pretty old right now and its getting slower and slower, also i have gtx 760 + 4gb of ram, sometimes in games i get low fps when im faced to whole map, that i can see whole map. Can this by caused by CPU ? and also help to which cpu should i upgrade, i dont want go for rly expensive cpus

im using i3-2100 and GTX 750 Ti with 8GB RAM..same problem bro.. if id were you id get some cheap i5 like i5-4460 and second stick if possible identical RAM, or atleast same voltage. i3's are terrible,we all acquired em due to lack of money/knowledge etc.

Without knowing your motherboard, can't make a recommendation as I don't know what CPU it can support.
Not all mobo's will support all 'i' series cpu's

i want upgrade mobo with cpu when its needed im just here asking if that low fps is caused by cpu when looking at whole map, if yes then i want hint which cpu and mobo

Haven't seen your PC cant be certain,but thats the case for me.. while my CPU is superior and GPU inferior to yours so it is very likely.. dualcores are lagging behind in latest generations games.

In bf3 like normally when im playing i have 60-100fps but when im in jet and i see whole map or when im sniper and looking tho whole map it drop to 30fps sometimes also in WoW i having low fps where is lot of players/npcs

exactly the case for me too. i3's just aren't made to deal with ltos of stuff going on in the screen,they're designed to deal with few tasks fast.
