Upgrade old system or buy new

Hi,
I have a old system with Core2duo and 3 gb dd2 ram. It's used only for web surfing/youtube by parents. They are complaining about slow browsing. Will it be worth adding a graphics card like GT710 to speed up or it's better to go for new system?

better graphics card is probably the least of your worries with a pc like that. an old harddrive could also be a limiting factor.
Ram is probably the first thing to upgrade as it gets easily clogged by browsers like chrome, which use large amounts of ram. i recommend prioritizing ram and cpu if you upgrade that system. Maybe use a lightweight browser and cutting back on background processes for the moment.

New system if you can. Otherwise, an SSD and a fresh Win 10 install would be your best bet.
