I was wondering what graphics card I can upgrade to from gt 1030 2gb without bottleneck issues
SPECS ARE
Intel i5 4570 3.2ghz
16gb ram ddr3
Mobo - H81M PRO-VD (MS-7846)
PSU - 500w Builder

Solution
Just so you know, a GTX 1650 can be another 15%+ faster than a GTX 1050 Ti and also requires no additional power connectors; the 1650 is the fastest GPU I am aware of that only needs 75 watts from the PCIe slot.
The PSU just says model: 500w BUILDER and not looking to spend a fortune maybe around 300 (ish) it's my nephew's gaming tower so I want to get him a better graphics card for his birthday

The psu does not seem to have any gpu power connectors so you are limited to the 75w from the mobo slot.

Shop for a gtx 1050/1050 ti.
Read the fine print and make sure it does not require an aux power connection.

The next hurdle is the physical size.
Will it fit in the slot....length/width.
That will require some measuring.

So do you think I can or should upgrade the PSU before choosing a new graphics card? And if so any advice would be appreciated

Thanks, I will look at that but from what I can see there are MSI, ASUS and others with their own version of the gtx1650 so is there any difference and which did you mean can run from the 75w mobo or can all of them do the same?

They should all only require the 75 watts from the motherboard, but check their specifications just to make sure they say they don't need additional power connectors.
Thank you, I will make sure to check specs before I buy if I go with the gtx1650 but it looks like the best option so far so I'm grateful for your advice

Is your 1030 actually dead, or are you just upgrading for the sake of upgrading? Upgrading for the sake of upgrading makes a lot less economic sense now, when prices are sky high. If you can muddle through with the 1030 a while longer, I would do that and save a lot of money. $300 for a low end graphics card is just plain bad.
