Guys, greetings of the day/night to you all
I need to understand which is the best card from the above that I can invest in to upgrade from my HD6670.
I will be playing crysis3 and farcry3 at 1600x900. I might drop farcry for metro lastlight owing to budget constraints.
My confusion is that although the gtx seems to do well with Cry3 from all tyhe you tube videos available, it has a smaller bandwidth and 8 less ROP's than the other two.
From what I have learnt online, ROP's are the final stage in the rendering before the image is loaded into the frame buffer and whether this fact will show any performance hits @ the mentioned resolution in those games.
The 660ti or 7870 are beyond my budget. only one the above three choices is what I can go with.
I do feel I am confusing my self with reading too much into the technical data. My corsair 450VS would likely have problems handling the 6950 but as I am not interested in changing any thing from my sig, I greatly appreciate your guidance in helping me choose the right card which would e good enough for at least another couple of years.
many thanks
