With WoW's CPU dependent nature, I would say a CPU upgrade is in order. That said, you have enough budget, for a substantial upgrade to gpu as well. I would recommend a PSU change, as well, as I don't know of any quality 800w power supplies, and a quality power supply is a must.

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($165.98 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Team - Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Zotac - GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GAMING Video Card ($348.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: EVGA -...
Alas, you are pretty much at a dead end on a DDR3 FX based system, with nothing really left to do that is practical short of replacing entire CPU/MB and RAM.

B450 chipset and R5-2600 with 16 GB kit (3200 MHz) of RAM (2x8 GB) and a GTX1050 or 1050 Ti (pretty decent for most games at 1080P) or 1060 (2060 if your tax return is coming soon!)

You might need a new PSU as well, as many mainboards mow require a pair of ATX12V CPU power inputs...

A Z390 and 9700K combo would perhaps deliver a few more FPS, but, either rig should last you another 4-5 years, IMO....

If you are content with what you have for now, a new batch of AMD CPUs and mainboards will be out this summer sometime...

So no way I can just upgrade the video card, and keep it moving. I mean I could go for full blown replacement, but if I can squeeze another year or two out of it by getting a better video card, then I may want to go that route. Thanks for the reply.

Any other suggestions? Can i say upgrade to an gtx 1060 video card and still get time out of the machine for the games coming up. Lets say that I don't need to play at max settings?
