Upgrade Or New

Hi There,
I have a desktop and I was wondering whether you guys think I should just upgrade it or start saving up for an entirely new computer. It is used mainly for gaming and video editing. If i were to upgrade i would probably first get a gtx 960.
Specs:
CPU:Intel i7 920
GPU:Geforce Gtx 260
Power Supply: Corsair ax760
Mobo: Asus Rampage II Gene
Ram: 9 gigs ddr3 1333

Your processor is roughly equivalent to an AMD FX 6300 in total horsepower . A graphics card upgrade will add a lot of performance .

Id suggest you buy thye graphics card now and defer the rest of a new build for another year or so

Yea, your other parts are good for now, just upgrade that GPU. 970, or a 280/290

I was thinking 960 because of the price, is the 150 more for the 970 worth it?

Yup! The 970 competes with AMD's flagship Card, the 290x. Obviously, it doesnt beat it, but it was the reason AMD's card prices were dropped.
