Hello, I am thinking about upgrading my GPU and was wondering if I should wait until the new radeon cards come out or if i should upgrade now to a GTX 970 (probably gigabyte g1). I will add my build and im asking what you guys think.

intel i7 4770k
MSI Z87-G41
8gb crucial d3 1600 ram
samsung E 120gb ssd
cosair cx750m
Powercolor r9 270x
samsung850 evo 120gb
1tb seagate

A GTX 970 G1 Gaming would last a few years at least while giving you great FPS counts, yet the new radeon cards might be a bit better at that.
A GTX 970 is dirt cheap in my mind though, I know a friend who has one and has no complaints at all, stays cool and gives him excellent FPS rates, so I suggest a 970 (I may be a bit biased since I am an Nvidia person, but I've never had a problem with Nvidia)
Hope this helps :)

No way to answer this without knowing: Resolution? Settings? FPS that you're seeking. Also, name the games that you'll be playing. Regardless you should wait until E3 on June 16th to see if any changes happen in the market. If so, they will most likely take place in the week to follow. With that said, I myself have a GTX 970 on my 1080p 60Hz monitors and I'm pleased with it.

i have a 144hz monitor, I am currently playing games like csgo and h1Z1. But I am looking to get games like gta and battlefield in the future, I have around the money for a gtx 970 right now. I think I should wait to see if price does drop some. Maybe with the release on the 16th, i might got for radeon. I prefer not to have radeon, but i want to see how this new card/ card line is going to be.

Gigabyte gtx g1 seems not to have the best reviews on newegg on the last 6 months. Which worries me a bit, thats why i'm really trying to decide wether or not I want a gigabyte gtx 970 or even want a 970
