Question Upgrade or not

I have been considering whether or not I should upgrade just to have the latest hardware. Below is what I'm thinking

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D AMD5 socket(Stock is low so will need to wait)
MSI Pro X870-P Motherboard
DDR 5 memory 32GB to 64GB

Was going to reuse my GPU RX 7900 GRE, NVME M.2 Gen 4x4 and 1000w Seasonic power supply.

What I currently have below.

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X AMD4 socket
GPU RX 7900 GRE
32g Memory Crucial Ballistix
MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk

I'm thinking I should wait a year and feel what I have already is more than what I need. The games I play are like Fallout 4, Valheim, Enshrouded and Sid Meier's Civilization. Thank you

If the system isn't doing what you're asking of it, then that's the point you upgrade your platform. What sort of resolution and refresh rate on your display to you game at?

I forgot about that past post, just not sure if its worth upgrading to AMD's new socket. have always been a AMD fan.
