Upgrade or not

I have a Ati HD4870 Powercooler 1gb gddr5 should i upgrade to play bf3?

Yeah, but if you are going to upgrade, upgrade to nothing lower than a 6950. Anything lower isn't worth it for you.

i disagree, about the 6950, the open beta comes out tomorrow. try it and see how your system performs, then the gpu charts on tomshardware will give you a good idea for how much better other cards are. then buy what you can afford.
