Keeping it simple, I am looking to upgrade my ram and would like to go with DDR4, but I would need a new motherboard to do so. I am having slowdown on basic games (ie: terraria runs at 40fps) and with a gtx-1080 this is an issue I shouldn't be having.
I would like to know if I swapped out my Mobo and Ram with these would everything be compatable, and most importantly would it solve my frame issues?
Ram / Motherboard
When running games, Task Manager shows my memory is usually between 70-85% with chrome open with gpu, disk, ect are <20%; that's why I'm assuming ram is the issue.

Solution
So you will be looking at a decent investment as you will need a new CPU+RAM+Motherboard. There won't be any noticeable upgrade in moving from DDR3 to DDR4, what you should be looking at instead is upgrading to 16GB of DDR3 RAM.

What ddr3 ram would you recommend then? Would it be ok to get 2 more Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1866, or is mixing old and new ram considered a bad thing?

Ok I will do that then. Thank you for the quick reply, It's much appreciated!
