Question upgrade path for 6800K, ASRock Extreme 4

Here's the relevant specs for my current, seven-year-old system, below. I've mostly been using a laptop the last few years, but I need to think about rebuilding this thing to make it more functional. I use it for Premiere, Resolve, Photoshop, in that order.

I'm thinking about simply swapping out the ram for 64 or 128 GB and leaving everything else as is. I'm basing that on the bottlenecks that I see in Premiere. This machine is weak in resolve, encode times are slow in Premiere, but I can live with that until I replace the whole thing.

Any feedback on the advisability of spending a few hundred on ram to give this system a little more life? Is there a way to purchase RAM that will be easily usable in my next build (which may be later this year)?

IMO, there are some good 'bundle deals' available right now for CPU/Mobo/RAM. Both Newegg and Microcenter are running some attractive options for AMD and Intel builds. Probably not a bad idea to consider a power supply but don't really think I would go that route unless you opt to update the graphics card as well. Given your priorities for use I wouldn't update that yet.
