Upgrade path for this build?

I built this pc last christmas and was wondering what the correct upgrade path for this would be.

SPECS:

CPU: AMD FX 8320
(cooler): Water cooled h100i

GPU: Club 3d Radeon R9 280x

RAM: 8gb/mushkin blackline

Mobo: Asrock 970 extreme 3

PSU: EVGA 750B2

Hard Drive: 250gb ssd and 1tb seagate barracuda

Case: Corsair 800D

I want to upgrade the gpu but I don't want to bottleneck or go over the psu's limit. Right now I get the following fps on high-medium settings:
Reality:

GTA V:
TOP: 65fps
AVG: 55fps
LOWEST: 30fps

What I want:

Top: 70fps
avg: 60fps
low:50fps

Preferably I'd get the fps I want on ULTRA.
I don't know what my budget is exactly so I'll say somewhere around 300-400 bucks max. And rebates are okay, but if this is the base price that would be preferred. So, if you could please take the build and improve it to run gta v on ultra in this price limit I would love you forever. If I'm being unrealistic don't sugar coat it, tell me I'm an idiot. as for your cpu, youve reached the limit in whats best. just overclock more for that
you could upgrade the mobo to a 990fx chpiset, but that wont directly improve performance, it may allow you to overclock more i recommend this asus one

even the 970 wont reliably run ultra gta v at decent frames... its just a badly optimized title.

Your PSU have penty of juice for any single card/ and maybe an SLI config, xfire is a bit riskier... if you decided to take that route then you might need a bigger psu.

So jsut plug away at that card if you decide to.

Sit on that until benchmarks and non reference Fury cards are out.
Savings might be had, it's not like your current rig is a potato.
You have enough psu to run any single card you could desire, so ya, OC the cpu up some, and watch for pricing etc for a bit.
