Upgrade PC for Video Production

I use Power Director 14 Ultra for video editing. My current set up is:
Mboard: Gigabyte GA-P55a-UD 3R rev 2.0
CPU:Intel i5-670
Graphics: Gigabyte GV-R577UD -1GD
RAM: 8 MB.

What would be the recommended components to uplift from my current spec for an amateur developer. Current set up cost $2000 4 years ago

Probably a complete system upgrade, but if you don't have the money yet you can get something like this. Make sure the PSU is good.
