Up till now i have been able to play all games very well but for future games i'm afraid it won't be able to play games. So do you guys think i should upgrade my PC or buy a PS4 and overclock my PC for better performance? (Still haven't overclocked anything?

Solution
Are you worried about your computer not being " future-proof " ? If so, you shouldn't be. That Pc will definitely run all games smoothly. So until more hardware intensive games are released, then should you upgrade your PC. No need to go really high-end now, and stick with older tech in future. Just upgrade when your games don't run smoothly.

That is a very nice build, the CPU is excellent even in BF4 it holds out fine with a overclock. The only thing that might need upgrading soon is the GTX 670 but if you don't want everything on ultra it will last years yet.

Hello.
Keep your money. Your PC will be fine for a looong time.
If you are in a need of upgrading something at least wait for Maxwell GPUs.
There is no upgrade right now from GTX670 that justifies the money you will spend.
Also at this state your PC will play any console port from PS4, with the same or better graphics.
So in the end just keep your money till new tech will arrive (like Haswell Extreme or Maxwell). Until then everything is not worth it...

Umm, this rig beats a PS4 already...

It should be playing everything on very high settings right now, but when you do need more performance (which may not be for a while yet, years even) a simple graphics card upgrade would suffice. Nice build :)

Solution
Your system is solid. Buying a PS4 would be a downgrade. Like others have said you could buy a new graphics card if futures titles start to lag on your current pc ( this will take a while) and that means you could either buy another 670 and sli the two, or upgrade to a more powerful graphics card in the future.

The only reason to buy a console is if you have every intention of playing exclusive titles (legally) that are not available for PC, I will list some good examples of reasons I plan to own one! Destiny, Bloody Roar (Sony got copyrights from Hudson and they intend to remake these titles, best fighting I ever played EVER), Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter (if they still make titles at for it at all), Killzone, God of War, Playstation All Stars (it's actually a great game and I like it better than Smash Bros) and lastly if you're into it the Playstation Move which gets by far more support than the Kinect and the Razer Hydra (a PC item that could be a Move for it if devs actually supported it more)!

There are plenty good reasons to get a PS4 but only like I said if you intend to actually play the exclusive titles. Otherwise it's a waste. I personally love to turn my house into an arcade with the Move controllers and invite my friends over to play games like (this helps in winter times when he hate to go out HAHA) Time Crisis and Sport Champions and such! I personally really like the move and as I do love my PS3 so I know I'll love the PS4 too. Otherwise I would figure out what games you generally play and if it seems that the titles you prefer always seem to be available for the PC then stick with your PC. If you actually have an interest in exclusives then consider the PS4. I cannot speak for the Xbox 1 honestly it just lacks so much in exclusives (they suck at remakes) that I would not buy it.

I am traditional and like to have a device in my hands so the Kinect also does not appeal to me. On top of it all much like the Oculus Rift, Sony intends to make a VR device for their console which is another (we'll see about that part) nice bonus! All in all I am a gamer not a FanBoy if you feel the same way then the competition from one device to another or from another doesn't matter. I own a NES, SNES, Sega Gen, N64, DreamCast, PS3 (completely revers compatible w/ PSX & PS2 titles) I will own a PS2 as well, GBA, my PC (which I love the heck out of since I build it last year and I intend to own a PS4. The lack of exclusive titles is keeping me at bay for the X1 though. Lately I have mostly only used my PC mainly due to so many titles being released for PC and I felt getting them for console was a waste of my time and money. So right now its all about exclusives. Anyhow I hope my insight helps you in your decision! :bounce:

P.S. your PC is fine dont bother upgrating it yet!
