Hello, I posted in this forum ages ago and everyone was very helpful so I thought I would give it another shot. I have had my current PC for like 6 years now and although it still runs games fairly well, it no longer meets my requirements as it cannot cope with both playing a game and streaming. My current PC has some good components still and a nice case, so I feel it may be better to just upgrade it, but I am not sure if newer parts will be compatible and if it's easier to just start again.
I do not need it to play huge games in 4k or anything crazy, I just need it to stream most games with decent settings, reliably.
My current PC spec:
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard
AMD Radeon R9 380
AMD FX 4170 quad core processor
16GB Dual Channel DDR3 RAM
2TB Seagate ST2000DM001
I have thought about getting the ryzen 1300x processor and the MSI 1050ti gaming x, but I am not sure if they enough of an upgrade to justify buying, or are even compatible with my PC. I do not have a specific budget, but I can't afford anything crazy.
Any help would be infinitely appreciated.
