Upgrade Phenom 1045t x6 with 95 Watt FX-8300 CPU. Possible?

As noted in the subject line, I currently have a Dell 7100 with a 1045t processor. I know that the max TDP my MB will support is 95W, but I'm afraid I don't know enough about slot types to confirm whether the FX-8300 is a possible upgrade for my system. Talk to Dell, as an AM3 socket, will probably need a bios update, but don't hold your breath.
