[SOLVED] Upgrade Power Supply?

I have a Dell Inspiron 3671 desktop that has 12GB of ram (8GB & 4GB sticks) that I would like to upgrade to 2 8GB sticks for a total of 16GB. The current power supply is a 260w Bronze. Will that be enough power for the ram upgrade? I also would like to replace the current 1TB hard drive with a 1TB ssd or perhaps keep the hard drive and add a 500GB SSD. Would I still be OK with the current power supply? The computer processor has onboard graphics and I do not plan on adding a dedicated graphics card.

The addition of RAM and a drive will have a very small increase in your power usage, but not enough to worry about. Your system will be fine.

I think you will be ok.

Plan on upgrading the whole computer, put any extra funds toward the PC life cycle upgrade.

The RAM upgrade will be cheap, and the SSD can be moved over to a new system, so . . what's the benefit of what you're suggesting?

RAM and SSD upgrade are perfectly fine with the current PSU. Even when you add a GPU like GTX 1050 Ti or GTX 1650 that don't need external power is works flawless.

The PSU itself is not upgradeble. It's proprietary and 12v only.
