I have an Via Apollo Pro, PPGA based mainboard and I think to upgrade my processor. Which is the highest speed/processor I can get.
Note: The mainboard supports up to 133 Mhz FSB.

Depends on the motherboard and bios. Give us the make and model. If it goes to 133 it should support at least a 933 if the bios is right and it supports the proper voltages.

They have things called Neo adapters that are suppost to allow the use of FC-PGA chips in PPGA sockets. It has something to do with the voltage and the alinment of some pins. I know that they are required for the Abit BP6 board, but I would look them up.
