hi! is it possible for me to upgrade my lenovo g50-30 processor from intel celeron to intel i5-i7? what can i upgrade for a better performance?

That's a laptop, so no, it is not upgradable, unless specifically designed to be by Lenovo (which I'm fairly certain it isn't but check with them to be sure). Laptops are typically upgradable only by way of RAM and hard drive / SSD

This is one of the key advantages of buying a desktop.... (or building your own...)

A SSD will give you the biggest bang for your buck! If you have an open ram slot(I was unable to locate the specs) then another 2gb dimm will also improve performance.

Agree on SSD upgrade - MASSIVE performance increase to be had. Check whether you have Sata 2 or 3 - if 2, go for cheapest current option such as Crucial MX100 (I have one of these in my laptop), else if Sata 3 take your pick of latest fastest options
