Not unless you have a special high end laptop that use desktop cpu, the answer is no.

Hello... "Anything is Possible"... But when it comes to Laptops... Some CPU's are soldered to the MB, for extra shock resistance. It can be labor intensive proceedure, but here is an Good example of the proceedure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9a0hIPdVmc It depends on your BIO's on the MB too, It's takes alot more research than a DeskTop MB, Also Laptop or MOBILE CPU's are different from standard DESKTOP CPU's.
